Cynthia Ng
MTA
Certified Music Therapist

Cynthia Ng is a music therapist who brings warmth, steadiness, and genuine care to her work with children and families. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy at Capilano University in 2021 and has since worked across a wide range of settings, including long‑term care, family‑centred music therapy, and community support services.
Alongside her music therapy training, Cynthia has worked as a family support practitioner in a women’s transition house, supporting women and children navigating domestic violence and major life transitions. This experience deeply informs her approach, grounding her work in safety, trust, and respect. She understands that meaningful learning and growth can only happen when people feel secure, seen, and supported.
Cynthia’s work is relational at its core. She takes time to build rapport, follows each child’s pace, and creates sessions that feel welcoming and attainable. Her style is lighthearted and easy to connect with, helping children feel comfortable exploring, playing, and expressing themselves through music.
With Cynthia, music therapy is a supportive space where wellbeing comes first, and learning unfolds through connection, curiosity, and care.
Cynthia is happy to be accepting new clients in-clinic, online, and in-home. To get in touch with her, you can click here or email her at cynthia@intandemcare.ca.
